Thursday the 1st of October at 10.00 a.m.: Visit Moesgaard – our prehistoric museum.

If you arrive in Aarhus early and have time to spend in the city prior to the conference, we have arranged a visit to the Moesgaard including following transportation from the exhibition to the conference venue in due time for registration and lunch.

The museum is open from 10.00 a.m. from which time a representative from the conference will meet you at the main entrance to the museum with an entrance ticket to the museum. You will also be allocated for a guided tour either at 10.15 or 10.45 a.m. Each tour will last an hour, which leaves time to spend in the exhibitions on your own. We will also arrange for cabs to take you from the museum to the conference venue.

The museum offers lockers for storing your luggage during your visit if needed.

You can reach the museum by a yellow bus no. 18 bound for Moesgaard Museum from the city centre.

The bus runs every 30 min. – the journey lasts 20 min. + a short walk (15 min.).

Price: 280 Dkk. The price is to be paid together with the conference fee at registration and includes entrance to the museum plus 1 hour guided tour in the museum.
